Job Summary
Structural Project Engineer responsible for assisting the Project Manager with design and analysis of structural elements, providing contract administrative duties, routine correspondence, field dimensioning, and maintaining project schedules. Proficient in producing high-quality structural drawings using AutoCAD, REVIT, Enercalc, and modeling tools (RISA3D, RISA Floor, RISA Foundation, RISA Connection). Expect field verification of buildings, tracking progress against plans, and collaborating with design teams to ensure quality and adherence to contract requirements. Domestic travel up to 15% of time; flexible, hybrid work arrangement in Holland, MI. Strong customer service and communication skills with a focus on accountability and timely client follow-up.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in civil engineering or related.
- Demonstrated working or theoretical knowledge in lateral, gravity and foundation design of low-rise buildings located in high seismic zones; concrete, masonry, wood and steel design; current standards including: AISC, ACI, TMS, ASCE 7, CBC and IBC; AutoCAD, REVIT and Enercalc; and As-Built Measurements.
