Job Summary
Execute engineering design calculations, prepare reports and contract documents, and conduct detailed checks on supervised work. Maintain routine communications with project teams and clients throughout proposal, design, and construction phases. Review project schedules and budgets, prepare proposals to support business development, and visit job sites to review progress and gain field experience. Apply structural engineering fundamentals to produce deliverables for industrial, water, and energy projects using steel, concrete, masonry, and timber. Requires FE exam pass, 4+ years experience, and Finite Element Analysis proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- good knowledge of structural engineering fundamentals
- solid communication skills
- passed the FE exam
- intent to pursue Professional Engineering licensure within two years
- Proficiency with Finite Element Analysis software
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of relevant experience
- Master's Degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with Autodesk Revit
