Job Summary

The Aircraft Structural Mechanic will perform internal and external sheet metal repairs, modifications, and installations on aircraft. Responsibilities include using appropriate sheet metal techniques, planning repairs using blueprints and specifications, inspecting aircraft per OEM manuals, and documenting work accurately. Candidates should have a minimum of three years of experience in aircraft sheet metal fabrication, along with skills in building structural forms and corrosion control.

Required Qualifications

  • A minimum of three (3) years of aircraft sheet metal fabrication experience
  • Prior experience working in the capacity of an Airframe Sheet Metal Specialist, Structural Technician or Aircraft Mechanic
  • Experience building I-beams, doublers, stringers, and performing corrosion control
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Desired Qualifications

  • A valid FAA Airframe License
  • A valid FAA Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License
  • Experience working alongside A&P Mechanics and Avionics Technicians performing heavy maintenance, inspections, and repairs
  • Corporate / Business Aviation or MRO experience
