Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients on pre-construction structural projects including bridges, retaining walls, and public/private bridge design efforts. Prepare bridge/structural plans, specifications, and estimates while solving complex problems and collaborating across disciplines. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn's and client's practices, procedures, and standards. Gain proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and/or GIS. This role is based in Fort Worth, Texas, for engineering students pursuing ABET-accredited degrees in Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Electrical, or related fields.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree (Bachelors or Masters)
- Civil and/or Environmental Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering
- Engineering Technology
- Must be available for Fort Worth, Texas (TX) office
- This is not a remote position
