Job Summary
Utilize technical software programs to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for clients on pre-construction structural projects including bridges and retaining walls. Prepare bridge plans, specifications, and estimates while solving complex problems and collaborating across disciplines. Develop familiarity with federal, state, and local regulations alongside Kimley-Horn and client practices. Gain proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Excel, Microstation, VISSIM, Open Roads, Synchro, and GIS. This role is based at the Irving Las Colinas office and supports the firm's commitment to quality and employee development within the built environment.
Required Qualifications
- In the process of receiving an ABET accredited engineering degree
- Bachelor's degree
- Master's degree
- Civil and/or Environmental Engineering major
- Structural Engineering major
- Mechanical, Electrical, Biological, Biosystems, Chemical, or Agricultural Engineering major
- Engineering Technology major
- Not a remote position
