Structural Integrity Engineer

Job Summary
Perform structural integrity assessments for non-pressurized structural elements such as pipe racks, platforms, walkways, supports, buildings, foundations, and steel frames; evaluate corrosion-related section loss, deformation, vibration, and structural overstress conditions; conduct load evaluations (dead, live, thermal, wind, seismic, equipment loads) for existing structures; assess structural adequacy for revamp scopes, equipment replacement, and structural tie-ins; support API 579 Parts 5 & 9 assessments where applicable to structural components; review legacy drawings, as-built documentation, and field measurements to validate capacity; provide structural input to revamp engineering packages, MOCs, and tie-in feasibility studies; support temporary works and construction-related structural checks; interpret inspection data and correlate degradation mechanisms with structural performance; prepare structural assessment reports, engineering justifications, and recommendations for repair, reinforcement, or replacement; interface with Mechanical, Corrosion, Process, and Inspection teams to resolve data gaps and ensure alignment; ensure compliance with Eurocodes, AISC, ASCE, API, and Client standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years demonstrable experience acting as Structural Integrity Engineer
- Experience with structural analysis software for assessment-level calculations
- Chartered Engineer (CEng / PE / EUR Ing) or equivalent
- Training in structural assessment, Eurocodes, or API/ASME integrity standards
