Job Summary
Conduct hands-on failure analysis assignments in the field and testing facility to determine the root cause of structural and envelope failures. Document findings, perform technical research, and write engineering reports that convey complex issues to lay audiences. Apply engineering principles and theories to real-world situations, often going beyond code requirements. Complete assignments on time per client requests while maintaining ethical practices. This full-time role requires regular travel, including some overnight trips, and involves physical demands such as driving, climbing, and lifting up to 50 pounds in various weather conditions. The position is open to licensed Professional Engineers with a Master's or Ph.D. in civil engineering and at least five years of supervisory or project management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in civil engineering
- Ph.D. in civil engineering
- 5 years supervisory or project management experience
- Licensed Professional Engineer
- Valid Driver's License in good standing, and demonstrated safe driving habits
- Ability to pass a background check as required for the position
- Eligible candidates will be legally authorized to work in the United States without employment visa sponsorship
