Job Summary
Position, align, and fit metal parts to form complete units or subunits per blueprints using jigs, torches, and hand tools; operate fabricating machines (brakes, rolls, shears, flame cutters, grinders, drill presses) to form and assemble components; study drawings to determine materials and task sequences; read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints; work independently and in a team in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness.
Required Qualifications
- Must have completed a prior welding curriculum or 1+ years on the job weld experience.
- Must have High School Diploma or GED.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
