Job Summary
Assist the Project Engineer as the technical source of information by responding to questions about drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and change orders. Maintain effective relationships with owners, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers while managing the project quality management plan and reinforcing safety culture. Develop and maintain as-built drawings, process submittals, change orders, and RFIs, and ensure timely generation and distribution of meeting agendas and daily reports. Oversee BIM coordination between subcontractors and designers, document LEED certification efforts, and provide lines, grades, and layout as required. Support superintendents in executing work and resolving field problems, while maintaining accurate quantity logs and reports in compliance with the cost control manual.
Required Qualifications
- four-year construction-related degree or equivalent technical/field experience
- Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) proficiency
- Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate with others
- Must be able to comply with all safety standards and procedures
- Required to use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry or feel objects on a frequent basis
- Will lift, push or pull objects up to 50Ibs on an occasional basis
- Will sit, stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday
- Will use telephone, computer system, email, and other electronic devices on a frequent basis to communicate with internal and external customers or vendors
