Job Summary
Structural Engineers and Designers (Junior through Senior levels) to join AECOM's Southeast Transportation team in the southern US. Key roles include working on alternative delivery and mega-projects, developing design packages for bridge projects, and applying design expertise across infrastructure projects. Required qualifications include a BS in Engineering and related experience (2+ years for junior, more for mid- and senior levels). Proficiency with Bentley Microstation/Open Roads and familiarity with bridge design software (Bentley Suite, CSiBridge, Midas, PGSuper, MDX, VBent) and retaining wall/bridge substructure design. Preferred qualifications include an EIT certification or PE license. Relocation assistance may be available. Sponsorship for US employment authorization is not available. Roles are expected to be hybrid (remote/in-office) and based out of a local AECOM office. AECOM emphasizes secure recruitment and in-person onboarding.
Required Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering + 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of education and/or experience (Junior/Mid-level)
- Experience with design packages for bridge design projects
- Experience with Bentley Microstation and Open Roads
- Familiar with bridge design software (Bentley Suite, CSiBridge, Midas, PGSuper, MDX, VBent)
- Experience in retaining wall and bridge substructure design
- Preferred: EIT Certification or PE License
