Job Summary
Lead business development efforts and manage a diverse portfolio of clients in structural building projects. Serve as project manager overseeing project budgets, structural design, and the development of design documents, calculations, and specifications. Manage Project Engineers and BIM specialists while performing quality control and construction administration duties. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering, possess Professional Engineer Licensure, and have a minimum of ten years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors of Science degree in Civil Engineering with a focus in Structural Engineering from a U.S. accredited college is required.
- Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience in structural design of buildings and related structures.
- Professional Engineer Licensure required.
- Working knowledge of various structural analysis and design programs.
- Working knowledge of Revit.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Applicable U.S. based work experience.
Desired Qualifications
- Masters of Science degree in Structural Engineering from a U.S. accredited college or university
Additional Requirements
- Illinois Structural Engineer Licensure preferred.
