Job Summary
Conduct structural analysis and design for steel and concrete structures in industrial and semiconductor facilities. Apply U.S. building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI, and AISC while supporting design concept development and documentation. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, perform calculations, and assist with quality control reviews to manage assigned tasks and meet project deadlines. Occasional field work may be required. This entry-level opportunity within a collaborative design team offers hands-on experience for an EIT to develop technical skills and grow in the Southeast region.
Required Qualifications
- Must reside in the U.S. Southeast Region (AL, AR, DE, FL, GA, KS, KY, LA, MD, MO, MS, NC, OK, SC, TN, TX, VA)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis)
- Engineer in Training (EIT) certification
- 2+ years of structural engineering experience
- Familiarity with U.S. building codes and standards
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related field
- Experience with STAAD, Navisworks, and Bluebeam
- Experience with steel and concrete design
- Industrial or semiconductor facility experience
