Job Summary
Structural Lead to build and lead Calgary’s structural engineering practice. Lead and grow the Structural Engineering division, mentor a high-performing team, and drive business development across Alberta. Assume ownership of project delivery, financial performance, and quality control while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on commercial, residential, institutional, and mixed-use projects. The role requires 10–15 years of structural design experience in building consulting, strong technical expertise in steel, concrete, and wood, P.Eng designation with APEGA, and an entrepreneurial mindset with leadership aspirations. There is a clear pathway toward Principal within 12 months based on performance and client-network development.
Required Qualifications
- P.Eng designation with APEGA
- 10–15 years of structural design experience in the building consulting industry
- Experience across commercial, residential, and/or institutional projects
- Entrepreneurial mindset with leadership and team-building capability
- Strong client relationships or network within Alberta
- Ambition to grow into Principal-level role
