Job Summary
Perform calculations, prepare schematics, bills of materials, and engineering specifications while updating design drawings in CAD/Revit software. Instruct drafters on converting designs into completed structural drawings and assist in engineering evaluations, reports, analyses, and designs for existing and new facilities. Prepare permit applications, review contractor and shop drawing submittals, and research governing codes and best practices under the supervision of senior engineers and project managers. This temporary part-time role in Huntsville, Alabama, supports LBYD's civil and structural engineering services for commercial and industrial projects, with opportunities to serve as a Field Engineer during construction.
Required Qualifications
- Working toward a bachelor's degree in Structural /Civil / Electrical Engineering or related undergraduate degree
