Job Summary
Lead the growth of KPFF's structural engineering group in the Nashville market by developing client relationships, securing new work, and expanding the office's local presence. Build and mentor a high-performing team of engineers and BIM modelers through technical guidance, career development, and recruiting support while providing project leadership across diverse structural systems from planning through construction. Strengthen office culture and long-term strategy by connecting the Nashville practice with national resources and expertise. This role requires a PE license, 8+ years of structural engineering experience, and 3+ years leading teams. Flexible scheduling includes core hours of 8:30–4:30 PM with paid overtime, generous PTO, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Possession of a Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Bachelor's Degree in Architectural Engineering
- 8+ years of progressive structural engineering experience
- Leadership of complex projects
- Direct client interaction
- Minimum 3 years of experience leading teams of three or more engineers
- Design experience across a wide range of materials, project phases and sectors
- A collaborative leadership style
- Passion for mentoring and growth
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- Masters degree
- Experience with client development, relationship management, and business development
- Interest in helping grow client partnerships
