Job Summary
Perform structural calculations for steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, and wood structures while reviewing drawings and calculations from junior staff. Develop detailed construction plans and details using AutoCAD or Revit software, and create structural models with various design tools. Conduct field visits during construction to observe adherence to documents and review shop drawings and respond to RFIs. Requires a PE license, 7+ years of experience, and proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Bentley RAM software. Based in Swedesboro or Warren, NJ, with hybrid, on-site, or remote options available.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience
- B.S. Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited school
- PE license
- Proficiency in Revit
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Proficiency in Bentley RAM software suite and CSI SAFE (or similar concrete finite element software)
- Excellent organization, oral, and written communication skills
- Knowledge of local and national design codes, including the International Building Code, AASHTO, ASCE 7, ACI 318, AISC 360, and NDS
- 7+ years of relevant structural design work, preferably including mid/high rise structures
- Candidates must be based in the United States
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in Bentley RAM software suite and CSI SAFE (or similar concrete finite element software)
