Structural Engineer

Job Summary
Review structure submissions from concept through project letting and provide technical guidance to clients as a subject matter expert. Prepare design computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates while performing structural analysis, geometric layout, and drawing preparation for transportation structures. Assist in analyzing field data, reports, and aerial photographs to plan projects, and use engineering software to prepare design documents. Support business development through project research and field reconnaissance. This role requires a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with 8+ years of experience, PA PE preferred, and oversight of County or State bridge projects. Full-time position in Pennsylvania with competitive compensation and benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- PA PE
- PennDOT (including PA counties) design experience
- Prior oversight of design teams for County or State bridge projects
- Experience using CADD Software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
