Job Summary
Review structure submissions from concept through project letting and provide technical guidance as a subject matter expert to clients. Prepare design computations, quantity estimates, and construction cost estimates while performing structural analysis, geometric layout, and drawing preparation for bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Assist in analyzing field data, reports, and aerial photographs to plan projects, and use computer-aided engineering software to prepare engineering documents. Support business development through project research and field reconnaissance. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required with PA PE preferred. PennDOT design experience and oversight of county or state bridge projects are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 8 years of experience
- Strong work ethic
- Ability to work on multiple projects
- Ability to meet multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Qualifications
- PA PE preferred
- PennDOT (including PA counties) design experience preferred
- Prior oversight of design teams for County or State bridge projects
- Experience using CADD Software (MicroStation and/or AutoCAD)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
