Structural Engineer

Manage 2-3 associates, including Civil/Structural Designers, and plan and execute work to meet project schedules, technical, and budget requirements. Coordinate design work with mechanical and electrical disciplines, develop equipment layouts, and produce General Arrangement drawings. Generate engineering calculations and sketches for support structures, access platforms, ductwork, vessels, tanks, and buildings. Prepare Purchase Specifications for buy-outs such as prefab buildings, screw conveyors, rotary valves, and expansion joints. Write scopes, obtain bids, evaluate, and award Subcontracts to Engineering consulting firms, then manage consultants to ensure requirements are met. Check and approve all drawings prior to release/issuance and respond to RFIs from fabricators and contractors. Participate in internal and external meetings and design reviews.
