Structural Engineer

Job Summary
Develop structural construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit while performing analysis and design calculations via hand methods and industry-standard software. Coordinate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project delivery, review contractor submittals for compliance, and respond to Requests for Information during construction. Independently manage small to mid-sized projects under senior leadership guidance, mentor junior engineers and co-op students, and conduct site observations to prepare detailed field reports. Maintain project schedules and uphold quality standards through rigorous technical reviews and problem-solving. Requires a PE license and 4-6 years of experience within a consulting or design environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural concentration, Architectural Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required, with the ability to obtain registration in additional states as needed
- 4-6 years of structural engineering experience within a consulting engineering, architecture/engineering, or building design environment
- Strong understanding of structural materials, construction methods, and associated cost considerations
- Thorough knowledge of local and national building codes, structural design standards, and industry best practices
- Experience utilizing structural analysis and design software
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality, accuracy, and project schedules
