Structural Engineer Steel

Structural Engineer Steel responsible for designing and coordinating the structural design of platforms and steelworks for Material Handling Systems. Lead and coordinate internal/external partners, review and challenge subcontractors’ work, and supervise steelworks quality on site. Independently work on projects, coordinating with project managers, engineers, buyers, and external parties (customers, engineering companies, steel manufacturers) to achieve cost-effective, compliant solutions. Tasks include performing preliminary calculations, preparing estimates of steel tonnages and costs, collecting technical information (standards, earthquake indicators, local legislation), acting as the technical point of contact, coordinating layout engineers for 2D drawings and 3D models, and delivering timely, complete reports. The department focuses on project execution within a multidisciplinary team, with a hybrid work arrangement (40% home, 60% office) in the Netherlands with travel on-site as needed.
