Job Summary
Conduct structural analysis and engineering calculations for commercial and institutional projects, designing systems in steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry. Prepare construction drawings, specifications, and reports while reviewing calculations and interpreting design documents. Perform field observations and site inspections for various structural systems, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards. Coordinate with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams to support project planning and delivery, while mentoring Engineers-in-Training. Requires an active PE license, a Civil Engineering degree, and proficiency with Revit, RAM Structural System, RISA, and Enercalc. Salary ranges from $90,000 to $125,000 annually.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis or related discipline
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Strong knowledge of Structural Analysis
- Strong knowledge of Steel Design
- Strong knowledge of Reinforced Concrete Design
- Strong knowledge of Wood Design
- Strong knowledge of Masonry Design
- Mechanics of Materials
- Ability to prepare and review structural calculations, engineering reports, and construction documents
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills
