Job Summary
Review and approve site-specific pergola designs, providing stamped structural calculations and documentation for projects across multiple jurisdictions. Collaborate with internal teams to standardize structural analysis procedures for 6063-T6 aluminum systems while maintaining span tables and load charts. Serve as the technical point of contact for dealer partners, tracking growth metrics and developing analytics to assess network health. Oversee the Certified Installer Program by designing training curricula, conducting sessions on installation best practices, and managing certification renewals and quality audits. This dual-purpose role bridges engineering rigor with business growth for a U.S.-based manufacturer redefining outdoor living through precision aluminum systems.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Engineer (PE) License — must be active and in good standing in at least one U.S. state
- Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Structural, Civil, or Architectural Engineering
- 5+ years of structural engineering experience
- Experience with dealer or channel management, or a demonstrated ability to manage multi-partner programs
- Excellent communication skills
- Proficiency with structural design software (e.g., RISA, STAAD, or equivalent) and spreadsheet-based span/load analysis
- Strong organizational and project management skills
Desired Qualifications

- Experience in the outdoor structures, architectural products, or building systems industries
- Understanding of extruded aluminum structural behavior and connection design
- Prior experience training installers, contractors, or technical sales teams
