Job Summary
Produce and review full design packages for renewable structures, including detailed hardware selection, calculations, models, and construction documents. Coordinate with clients and agencies for permitting, manage submittals, and oversee quality standards while attending client meetings. Build plan sets, perform site layout and drainage design, and utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D for utilities and due diligence. Requires a P.E. license or ability to obtain within 12 months, 4+ years of energy discipline experience, and proficiency in task management and concept design. Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant engineering design experience
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) License (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
- Experience within the Energy discipline including experience with design, permitting, and applicable software applications
- Experience with task management, concept design, and assisting project management tasks
- Familiar with coordinating with clients, attending client meetings, and overseeing quality standards
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Ability to build plan sets and other construction documents
- Design experience that includes utilities, site layout, drainage, due diligence and permitting
