Job Summary
Conduct structural engineering analysis and coordinate detailed design for steel, concrete, and foundation systems. Develop calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical reports while applying codes such as ASCE 7, IBC, AISC, and ACI. Coordinate designs with civil, geotechnical, mechanical, piping, electrical, and process disciplines. Review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and provide construction phase support. Aide senior engineers on large facility projects. Minimal field time and/or travel is expected but may be required at times.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 2-5+ Years of experience
- Design experience or courses in structural steel and/or concrete design
- Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Experience using AutoCAD
- Experience using RISA-3D
- Experience using STAAD Pro
- Experience using Mathcad
- Experience using L-Pile
- Experience using Bluebeam
- Experience using Navisworks
- Experience using Excel
- Experience with ASCE 7
- Experience with IBC
- Experience with AISC
- Experience with ACI
Desired Qualifications
- EIT certification preferred
