Job Summary
Perform structural analysis, design calculations, and prepare construction documents for routine building and facility projects under the supervision of a Professional Engineer. Develop plans, details, schedules, and specifications using Revit and AutoCAD while coordinating designs with architects and other disciplines to ensure constructability. Conduct field investigations, review shop drawings and RFIs, and assist with construction administration activities including site observations and field reports. The Structural Engineer (EI/EIT) position supports projects ranging from facility assessments to complex new construction across aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors. Candidates must hold an EI or EIT certification and demonstrate progress toward PE licensure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college or university
- Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination
- Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
- Demonstrated progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus
- One to three years of structural engineering experience in building design preferred
- Experience in building design, structural analysis, and preparation of construction documents preferred
- Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with structural analysis and design software including RISA, RAM, and/or ENERCALC preferred
