Structural Engineer II

Job Summary

Perform structural analysis, design calculations, and prepare construction documents for routine building and facility projects under the supervision of licensed Professional Engineers. Apply building codes and design standards to develop solutions, create plans and details using Revit and AutoCAD, and coordinate structural designs with architects and other disciplines. Conduct field investigations, review sketches and specifications, and assist with construction administration activities including shop drawing reviews and site observations. This Early Career Structural Engineer (EI/EIT) role supports a diverse portfolio across aerospace, defense, and commercial sectors, offering mentorship and progressive responsibilities to build technical expertise and progress toward PE licensure.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or related engineering degree from an ABET-accredited college or university
  • One to three years of structural engineering experience in building design
  • Experience in building design, structural analysis, and preparation of construction documents
  • Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software including RISA, RAM, and/or ENERCALC
  • Passed the Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) examination
  • Engineer Intern (EI) or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification
  • Demonstrated progress toward Professional Engineer (PE) licensure

Desired Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Structural Engineering
  • Experience with structural analysis and design software including RISA, RAM, and/or ENERCALC
