Job Summary
The Structural Engineer II will lead small to medium projects or portions of larger projects, utilizing expertise in structural analysis and design in materials such as concrete, steel, wood, and masonry. Candidates must be proficient in structural software and capable of handling multiple projects with minimal supervision. Effective communication is essential for client engagement and collaboration with architects and engineers. Responsibilities include quality control, project budget establishment, and writing specifications for various project types.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum BSCE/BSAE from an Abet Accredited Engineering Program
- Licensed Professional Engineer
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient in AutoCAD and REVIT
- Strong understanding of structural software programs such as RAM Structural Systems, Enercalc, RAM Element, and RAM Concept
- Ability to train employees on company standards and drafting techniques
- Experience in client communication and project management
