Job Summary
Structural Engineer (Hybrid Role) based in Fenton, MO. Lead or support structural design projects across commercial, municipal, residential, and institutional sectors. Responsibilities include client interface, attending project meetings, managing timelines, producing design calculations and construction documents for concrete, steel, wood, and/or masonry systems, reviewing shop drawings and RFIs, and coordinating with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors. Mentoring junior engineers and supporting professional development initiatives. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering and 5+ years of structural design experience; Proficiency with ETABS, RISA, RAM, and related software; experience with multiple structural systems (steel, concrete, wood, masonry). PE license is preferred. Hybrid work arrangement with office in Fenton, MO.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of experience in structural design of buildings
- Proficiency with structural design software (ETABS, RISA, RAM, etc.)
- Experience in at least two structural systems: steel, concrete, wood, masonry
