Job Summary
EBI Consulting is seeking a Structural Engineer to conduct Seismic Risk Assessments (SRA) and Property Condition Assessments (PCA) for various property types, including industrial, commercial, and residential. Responsibilities include performing field observations, compiling data for PML and PCA reports, and utilizing seismic assessment software. Applicants must have a breadth of knowledge in seismic design requirements, at least 10 years’ relevant experience, and superior communication skills to present findings to clients. A Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and a California Licensed P.E. are required, along with prior experience in PML work.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ experience with building materials/systems, construction or design, or forensic investigation
- Prior PML experience required
- California Licensed P.E. is required, S.E. is preferred
- Experience working in a fast-paced consulting firm with the ability to independently manage multiple projects
- Superior interpersonal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Master’s Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering or related focus
- Knowledge of HUD and/or other government-related scopes of work
