Job Summary
Analyze, evaluate, and design solutions for basement stabilization and wall reinforcements to ensure long-term structural integrity. Oversee waterproofing techniques for residential projects while applying concrete and steel expertise to execute repair strategies. Coordinate with architects and contractors to facilitate successful project delivery from design through completion, maintaining open communication with clients regarding engineering concepts and progress. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to quality and safety standards, ensuring all designs meet local, state, and federal codes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, an active PE license, and 5+ years of structural engineering experience focused on foundational projects. Omaha area.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years' experience in construction (residential preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably Structural Engineering)
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 5+ years' structural engineering experience, primarily focused on foundational projects within residential or comparable settings
- Demonstrated proficiency in concrete and steel applications
- Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
- Must be authorized to work in the United States (no sponsorship available)
