Job Summary
Perform structural analysis and design using finite element modelling techniques and software tools like Autodesk Robot or ETABS. Prepare engineering calculations, reports, and technical design specifications while working alongside architects and construction professionals to ensure structural system integrity. Conduct assessments and inspections during design and construction phases, ensuring compliance with local codes and SANS standards. Assist in resolving structural challenges by offering practical and innovative solutions for diverse residential and mixed-use projects. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 3–5 years of post-graduate experience in structural design and analysis
- Proficiency in FEM software (e.g., Autodesk Robot, ETABS, Prokon, or equivalent)
- Solid understanding of local building codes, SANS standards, and construction practices
