Job Summary
Design and analyze structural components for heavy industrial, utility, and infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety and performance requirements. Apply expertise in structural engineering codes and design software to develop plans and drafts for concrete and steel elements. Collaborate with clients and team members to communicate technical issues clearly while evaluating solution options and risks. Adhere to all client and industry safety requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in plan development and drafting software
- Proficiency in structural analysis software
- Knowledge in design of concrete and steel elements per code requirements
- Must be able to comply with all client and industry safety requirements
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to simplify technical issues
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree with emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Proficiency in Revit
- Engineering in Training (EIT) certification for under 5 years of experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) if over 5 years of experience
