Job Summary
Project Structural Engineer responsible for structural calculations and drawings, technical delivery of structural engineering documents, collaboration with other disciplines, construction administration and site observations, coordination with building jurisdictions for permits, and mentoring towards future management. Role emphasizes performing detailed engineering design for gravity and lateral systems, communicating with clients and officials, preparing design development and construction documents, interpreting 3D structural analysis models, and supporting office standards and knowledge growth. Requires strong interpersonal/organizational skills, ability to work in a team and independently, and proficiency with structural analysis and BIM tools including REVIT Structural; travel up to 15% and valid driver’s license required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
- minimum of two years working experience in structural engineering
- PE license preferred
- experience with BIM tools such as REVIT Structural
- ability to travel up to 15%
- valid driver’s license
