Job Summary
Senior-level Structural Engineer role with hybrid remote/office options in the US. You will perform structural analysis and design for projects, develop design concepts, coordinate with the lead engineers and designers, and mentor junior staff. Expect leadership responsibilities on medium-sized projects or sub-lead roles on larger projects, with focus on seismic and wind provisions, adherence to US building codes, and delivering high-quality design documents. You’ll plan work with minimal supervision, apply engineering judgment, review peers’ work, manage workload and schedule, and continuously improve workflows and tools within the structural discipline.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Structural Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE/PEng)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in structural engineering
- Proficient with US building codes including IBC, ASCE 7, ACI and AISC
- Proficient with Structural Engineering analysis software, Navisworks and Bluebeam
- Proficient with designing and analyzing traditional steel and concrete structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
