Job Summary
Structural Engineer or Designer responsible for managing full project lifecycles for institutional and public-sector buildings, from site visits and design through tendering, contract administration, and closeout. Responsibilities include structural design and analysis, preparing engineering reports and documentation for public/institutional clients, coordinating with internal teams and external sub-consultants (MEP and others), maintaining client-facing communications, and conducting field reviews/site inspections across the GTA. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, active EIT status with Ontario’s Professional Engineers, 3–6 years of experience in structural building design, and proficiency with AutoCAD, S-Frame, and Bluebeam. Travel within the GTA for site visits and valid driver’s license with vehicle access are required. Benefits include employer-paid health and dental coverage and RRSP matching.
Required Qualifications

- EIT with Professional Engineers Ontario and actively working toward P.Eng
- 3–6 years of experience in structural building design
