Job Summary
Collaborate with senior engineers and clients to deliver high-quality structural design solutions for concrete and steel building structures. Perform design and analysis of bespoke projects, support the supervision of graduate engineers, and review design calculations and details. Contribute to design documentation including drawings, specifications, and reports, while providing construction-phase support across a wide array of projects. This role requires at least four years of structural engineering experience, a relevant tertiary degree, and technical skills in structural analysis for building designs. Based in the Sydney or Newcastle offices, Aurecon is seeking a candidate passionate about re-imagining problems to help shape the future of sustainable infrastructure delivery.
Required Qualifications
- At least 4 years' experience in a Structural Engineer role
- A relevant tertiary degree, such as a bachelor's in civil engineering
- Experience working on large-scale projects, with a focus on Building Structures
- Solid technical skills in structural analysis for building structural designs
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in team environments and support junior engineers

- Experience in Public Buildings, the Transport sector, or Data Centres
