Job Summary
Structural Engineer - Bridge based in Egis Global Design Center Bangkok responsible for performing structural analysis and detailed design of bridges, viaducts and civil structures under supervision; prepare design and calculation reports, follow up with CAD/BIM production, prepare bill of quantity, attend meetings and distribute minutes, ensure quality of design deliverables and compliance with Safety Policy and Quality Management System. Scope includes bridges, viaducts, elevated station structures, port structures, track work. Requires Civil/Structural Engineering degree (Master’s preferred), up to three years’ experience in civil/structural design, knowledge of Eurocodes/ACI/AASHTO, experience with Sofistik/SCIA/Midas, Excel (VBA a plus), ability to work in an international context, and strong English writing/speaking skills; engineering license level I in Thailand would be an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering (Master’s preferred)
- Up to three years experience in Civil Works Design and Structural Design (bridges)
- Knowledge of international codes such as Eurocodes, ACI, AASHTO
- Experience with structural modelling software such as Sofistik, SCIA, Midas or similar
- Pack Office skills – Mastery of Excel (VBA a plus)
- Ability to work in an international context
- Good level of English (speaking & writing)
- Possessing engineering license level I in Thailand would be an advantage
