Job Summary
Structural Engineer needed to design and analyze structures including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber systems for projects in Texas. Responsibilities include advanced structural analysis with ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, and RISA; designing and analyzing structural systems such as steel braced frames, moment frames, concrete and masonry shear walls, concrete frames, post-tensioned concrete, and light-frame timber; preparing structural calculations, detailing, and engineering reports; supporting construction administration; ensuring compliance with building codes and seismic design; and testifying as an expert witness when necessary. Must have a PE license and deep knowledge of structural engineering analysis, building code requirements, and seismic design. Additional duties include preparation of calculations and reports and contributing to project documentation.
