Job Summary
Design and generate fabrication and erection drawings for commercial and agricultural metal building projects. Lead package engineering and design, working closely with sales teams to aid in project estimating. Manage workloads requiring strict adherence to deadlines while utilizing specific building-specific software systems including Metal Building Software (MBS). Report to the VP of AgriSteel and collaborate regularly with sales, engineering, and fulfillment teams. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural Engineering emphasis required, with experience in CAD systems or estimating beneficial.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Civil Engineering with an emphasis on Structural Engineering
- Well versed in verbal and written communications
- Fluent with computers
- Specific experience with MS office
- Specific experience with BlueBeam
- Great attention to detail
- Ability to manage workloads that require deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Revit
- Prior knowledge of MBS
- Experience in a related field as a CAD systems operator
- Experience in a related field as an Engineering Specialist
- Experience in a related field as a Civil Engineering Technician
- Experience in a related field as an Engineer CAD tech
- Experience in a related field as an Estimator/Project Manager
