Job Summary
Intermediate Structural Engineer in AECOM's Water Infrastructure team responsible for delivering high-quality structural design projects for water and wastewater facilities. Work with senior engineers, EITs, technologists, CAD designers, and project managers to perform calculations, structural analysis, and develop approaches to new problems; collaborate across civil, electrical, and mechanical disciplines; provide guidance and mentorship to entry-level engineers; execute tasks within budgets and schedules with minimal supervision; contribute to a consulting engineering environment and professional development.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (or equivalent)
- 6+ years of experience working with Canadian codes and design standards
- P.Eng with EGBC is required, or ability to obtain within 6 months
- Experience with water/wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations, and water conveyance structures
- Proficiency with structural design software such as SAP2000, ETABS, and STAAD Pro
