Job Summary
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from concept through completion, providing oversight to engineers and BIM team members, and collaborating with clients to clarify requirements and expectations. Oversee planning, design, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation; conduct feasibility studies, site investigations, and structural assessments; prepare and review engineering drawings, calculations, specifications, and reports in accordance with applicable building codes; monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies; ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, while fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented office culture. Proficiency in structural analysis/design software (ETABS, RAM, RISA-3D) and BIM tools (Revit, AutoCAD) is required, along with strong knowledge of IBC/ASCE/ACI/AISC standards. Excellent communication and multitasking abilities are essential to deliver high-quality design solutions and support the organization’s goals for ongoing professional development and client satisfaction.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in structural engineering design
- Proficiency in ETABS, RAM Structural System, RISA-3D, etc.
- Strong knowledge of building codes, standards, and regulations (IBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC)
- Experience with BIM software (Revit, AutoCAD)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workloads, and meet tight deadlines
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Desired Qualifications
