Job Summary
Design commercial and industrial structures for the Seattle office, utilizing software such as Revit, RISA, and ETABS to apply the International Building Code and US design standards. Lead multi-discipline teams in structural design projects involving steel, concrete, masonry, and wood while maintaining strong client relationships. This role requires a PE with four to eight years of experience and is not eligible for sponsorship. Required Qualifications
- A four-year degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or a related field
- Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- 4 to 8 years of experience in the structural design of buildings or similar structures
- Experience with computer software programs and analysis systems (such as Microsoft Office, Revit, RISA, ETABS, etc.)
- Knowledge and experience with the International Building Code (IBC) and US design standards
- Excellent leadership, supervisory, and writing and verbal communication skills
- Experience and ability to maintain working relationships with clients
Desired Qualifications
- Master's Degree in Structural Engineering
- Design experience with various materials – steel and concrete; masonry, wood and light gauge
- Experience with ASCE 41
- Experience as a project manager
- Experience working as part of a multi-discipline team
