Job Summary
Design and detailing of steel, concrete, and foundation systems for utility-scale renewable projects (solar, wind, BESS, substations). Produce construction deliverables including general arrangement drawings, foundation plans, reinforcement details, steel framing, and installation details. Support engineers with design calculations and material take-offs; review vendor shop drawings; perform limited field inspections; coordinate with civil, electrical, and mechanical teams; apply IBC, ACI, AISC, ASCE 7, IEEE codes and standards. Proficient in AutoCAD; familiarity with PLS-CADD/PLS-POLE, Civil 3D, and MicroStation is a plus. Roles available in-lab Lakewood, CO and full-time remote in the US; hybrid remote arrangement for local candidate. Required Qualifications
- Associates degree preferred
- 3 – 5+ years of drafting, design, engineering, or related experience
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong written and oral communications
- Ability to work in a team across disciplines
- Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis
