Job Summary
As a Structural Designer, you will join Ramboll’s Structural Department to prepare structural engineering and construction drawings using Autodesk Revit, adhering to the firm’s quality standards and drafting conventions. You will participate in the CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program and may act as CAD/BIM Coordinator on projects, review vendor drawings for contract compliance, and visit job sites to gain field experience. You will contribute to a safety-focused culture, apply fundamental engineering concepts and calculations to design elements, and develop deliverables for review by engineering staff. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors, engage directly with colleagues and clients, and demonstrate strong communication and written-report skills while showing willingness to grow into new market sectors. Salary transparency is provided with a base range, and the role offers opportunities for additional compensation and a comprehensive benefits package. The position requires a base level of education in Structural Technology and relevant experience with Revit, with an emphasis on sustainability and professional development.
