Job Summary
Structural Designer for Ramboll's Americas Structural Department. Prepare structural engineering and construction drawings under direct supervision using Autodesk Revit for projects across municipal, industrial, institutional, and commercial sectors. Adhere to Ramboll quality standards, participate in the CAD/BIM Coordinator Certification program, and act as CAD/BIM Coordinator on selected projects. Review vendor submittals, visit job sites to gain field experience, and contribute to a safety-conscious culture. Candidates should have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree related to Structural Technology or Architecture, be capable of communicating with colleagues and clients, work independently with guidance from senior staff, and demonstrate a solid foundation in structural design, calculations, and drawing development. You will join a global, sustainability-focused team and have opportunities for professional growth and collaboration across Ramboll’s Americas and global units.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associates Degree related to Structural Technology or Architecture
- Experience with Autodesk Revit
- Willingness to learn and grow in new market sectors
- Strong communication skills and ability to interact with clients
- Ability to work independently with guidance from senior staff
- Ability to visit job sites and contribute to field experience
