Job Summary
Support structural design for new buildings, renovations, and facility expansions by producing detailed drafting for industrial structural steel systems, including equipment supports, platforms, and pipe racks. Apply internal and client CAD/BIM standards to ensure consistency and accuracy across deliverables while collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams to take ownership of project goals. Participate in WSP's robust QA/QC process to deliver work reflecting high standards of quality, accountability, and pride. Requires 7+ years of experience in civil design and terrain modeling using Revit, AutoCAD, or MicroStation. Hourly rate $30.97 - $44.28.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 7+ years of experience in civil design and terrain modeling using Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, or comparable software
- Strong ability to prioritize tasks, manage deadlines, and adapt in a dynamic project environment
- Solid understanding of basic mathematical concepts and drawing setup
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and mechanical drawings
- Demonstrated problem‐solving skills and willingness to learn and apply new technologies
Desired Qualifications
- Associate degree in Drafting or a related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced expertise with Revit
- Experience working in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation
- Prior construction experience in an industrial or commercial environment
