Structural Designer for wastewater treatment plants (for projects in Switzerland)

Design of civil works structures for wastewater treatment plants (predominantly reinforced concrete), including tanks, basins, pumping stations, and service buildings. Basic sizing provided by process engineers; responsibility for design work and information collection from machinery, electromechanical equipment, HVAC and EMCR to ensure facility conforms to process and design rules (e.g., German HOAI, Swiss SIA). BIM-enabled design of civil works with BIM modelers; participation in meetings and regular reporting to Project Manager. Must have 3-5 years of structural engineering experience; strong teamwork and willingness to learn other technical fields (mechanical, electrical). Proficiency in English (B2-C1); MS Office; BIM Methodology (openBIM); collaboration platforms (BIMCollab); structural engineering software (SOFiSTiK, TEKLA, ALLPLAN); knowledge of HOAI/SIA and EURO Codes; Autodesk REVIT. Nice-to-have: German language skills; experience in wastewater treatment plant design; BIM2Field; field experience in complex plant engineering; familiarity with mechanical, biological and chemical processes in wastewater treatment.
