Structural Designer / BIM Technician

Job Summary
Model wood, steel, concrete, and masonry structures using Revit, AutoCAD, and Autodesk Construction Cloud to produce clash-free plans, elevations, and details for global infrastructure and energy transition projects. Coordinate complex spatial designs across disciplines, visualize 3D structures, and curate the firm's BIM and CADD library resources. Assist in designing projects in remote locations and apply data-driven technology to improve mining and water systems. Work within a multidisciplinary engineering team in Anchorage, Alaska, with a focus on continuous learning and mentorship.
Required Qualifications
- Proficiency in BIM and CADD software (Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD)
- Ability to interpret written, verbal, and visual direction
- Ability to work and communicate effectively in collaborative team settings
- Strong visualization skills and attention to detail
- Must be available to work in Anchorage, Alaska
- Must be able to design infrastructure in remote locations
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in structural drafting and modeling preferred
- Experience in construction, mining, and related trades will be beneficial
- Related degrees or certifications desired
- Interest in emerging technologies
- Experience leveraging Autodesk Construction Cloud
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Bluebeam Revu
