Job Summary
Independently produce structural drawings for steel structures and concrete foundations, collaborating with mechanical and electrical designers to resolve 3D model clashes. Adapt to diverse technologies across power generation, mining, oil & gas, and renewables, including carbon capture, solar, wind, and hydrogen projects. Travel to client facilities to verify on-site physical design conditions where necessary. This hybrid role requires three days in the office and two remote days. We do not sponsor work authorization in the U.S.
Required Qualifications
- Dependent upon your location, this opportunity offers a generous relocation package
- Travel to client facilities may be necessary to verify on-site physical design conditions
- Associate Degree in Computer Aided Design Technology preferred
- CAD certificate required if non-degreed
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required
- Proficiency in at least one major CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, Tekla, Revit, SmartPlant 3D)
- Knowledge of American Concrete Institute (ACI) for foundation design
- Knowledge of American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC) manual for steel design
- Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
